Her presentation reframed LC-MS method validation as a risk-management process rather than a checklist of validation characteristics. By zooming out to the method\u2019s intended purpose, each validation characteristic is linked to the specific risks it is designed to control. Lessons learned form an online validation course<\/a>\u201d presented an analysis of the main issues brought up by the participants of the nine editions of an online LC-MS method validation course (<a href=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/lcms_method_validation\/\">https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/lcms_method_validation\/<\/a>). The analysis of 2640 course forum posts and 336 participant feedback submissions revealed that practitioners struggle a lot with calculations and spreadsheet software, which diverts effort from real \u201canalytical hemistry\u201d issues.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6428\" style=\"width: 487px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/akki.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_session_2025-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6428\" class=\"wp-image-6428 \" src=\"https:\/\/akki.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_session_2025-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"477\" height=\"269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/akki.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_session_2025-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/akki.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_session_2025-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/akki.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_session_2025-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/akki.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_session_2025-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/akki.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_session_2025-2048x1152.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-6428\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Asko leading the ValChrom session<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Asko&#8217;s session \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/analytical.chem.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ValChrom_Laaniste_2025-1.pdf\">ValChrom open-access online validation software<\/a>\u201d was a workshop in the true sense of the word: a hands-on session on the online validation software <a href=\"https:\/\/valchrom.ut.ee\/\">ValChrom<\/a> developed at UT. Participants had instant access to the software freely available in web and demo materials. Asko walked them through the whole process of ValChrom from start to finish, from defining analytes to customizing experimental plan with AI and finishing with automatically generated DOCX file with the whole validation data in it.
